Short side trip out to the tiny town of Kaskaskia, Illinois.

We cross an old Mississippi River channel that was used to define the state line. So it's a piece of Illinois on the Missouri side of the river. [2048x1536]

It is a small town now, but was once the capital of Illinois. [2048x1536]
