These are the the pictures from my trip to Buffalo, New York, primarily for a research meeting at the University at Buffalo. The pictures are from the roads and from a couple baseball games I was able to work in. Pictures were taken with taken with my Fujifilm Finepix HS50. The pictures are linked from text below.
June 29
I started after lunch, and had the chance to take the scenic route to Batavia. This followed several segments of New York 5 and US 20 I hadn't previously traveled [100 Pictures]. I arrived in Batavia in plenty of time to see the Batavia Muckdogs game at Dwyer Stadium [16 Pictures]. After the game, I took the Thruway to get to my hotel in Amherst.
June 30
After a ride to clinch I-990 in the morning [6 Pictures], the whole day was spent in research meetings at the University at Buffalo. We stopped at 4:30 to get an early dinner at nearby Duff's, then I drove on down [2 Pictures] to Coca Cola Field for the Buffalo Bisons game [40 Pictures]. The game ended a little after 10, and I had an easy ride, this time all along the Thruway, to get home a little after 2 AM.
