Lunar Eclipse - May 15, 2003

These pictures were taken with my Olympus C730 Ultra Zoom digital camera in Williamstown, on May 15, 2003. The cloudy skies broke up just enough to catch the total lunar eclipse. These pictures were taken from my patio between about 10:45 and 11:15 PM. Shortly after the eclipse went total, the clouds filled in, so there was no chance to take pictures later.

The quality of the images varies widely as I experimented with camera settings and as I tried to find ways to keep the camera as still as possible. The really bad ones didn't make the cut.
