Total Lunar Eclipse over New Mexico - November 8, 2003

We made a couple of stops during the eclipse to get a better look and to take some pictures.

A stop along US 54 south of Carrizozo. The moon is now partially eclipsed. [2048x1536]

Over half way. [2048x1536]

Slightly blurred, but not bad. [2048x1536]

Looking the other way at the sunset, reflected also in the car roof. [2048x1536]

The sunset with Venus coming out. [2048x1536]

A stop close to Carrizozo a but later. [2048x1536]

It's hard to tell in this one, but it's just about total. [2048x1536]

Another look back at the sunset and Venus. [2048x1536]
