Royal Gorge, Colorado - April 28, 2004

We tried to take the loop that crosses the Arkansas River on a high suspension bridge. We knew it was a toll bridge, but since it's also an amusement park, we'd have had to pay admission to the park ($19 per person, I think) just to drive across a bridge. No thanks. So we just stopped in the parking lot, took a few pictures, then turned back to US 50.

Finally, we found a view of the bridge. Sure, it's nice, but not worth almost $40 to cross. [2048x1536]
