Pagosa Springs to the Wolf Creek Ski Area, Colorado - February 8, 2004

There was just an inch or two of snow in Pagosa Springs. Much more on the way up into Wolf Creek Pass.

Snow-covered frontage road on the west end of Pagosa Springs in the morning. [2048x1536]

Getting into the main part of town (the springs are causing the steam). [2048x1536]

Closest approach of US 160 to the springs in Pagosa Springs. [2048x1536]

Heading out of town and toward the pass. Back in November, there were already great views of the mountains at this point. Today, they're in the snow clouds. [2048x1536]

Snow picking up. [2048x1536]

Snow really picking up. [2048x1536]

And on up into the pass. [2048x1536]

There's a great view off that cliff. But not today. [2048x1536]

Nearing the summit, the sun is actually breaking through the clouds a bit. [2048x1536]

But it's still snowing hard. [2048x1536]

Information, anyone? This is at the top of the pass. [2048x1536]
