Pagosa Springs to the Wolf Creek Ski Area, Colorado - February 8, 2004
There was just an inch or two of snow in Pagosa Springs. Much more on
the way up into Wolf Creek Pass.
Snow-covered frontage road on the west end of Pagosa Springs in the morning.

Getting into the main part of town (the springs are causing the steam).

Closest approach of US 160 to the springs in Pagosa Springs.

Heading out of town and toward the pass. Back in November, there were already great views of the mountains at this point. Today, they're in the snow clouds.

Snow picking up.

Snow really picking up.

And on up into the pass.
[2048x1536]
There's a great view off that cliff. But not today.

Nearing the summit, the sun is actually breaking through the clouds a bit.

But it's still snowing hard.

Information, anyone? This is at the top of the pass.
