Cardinals at Yankees, Clemens 300W/4000K - June 13, 2003
These pictures were taken with my Olympus C730 Ultra Zoom digital
camera at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx on June 13, 2003. The Yankees
met the Cardinals for the first time ever in a regular season game,
the game marked the return of Tino Martinez to the Bronx, and ended up
with Roger Clemens earning his 300th career win and picking up his
4000th career strikeout along the way, all in a steady rain on a cool
night. Not bad for a guy in the sixth year of the "twilight of his
career". The game was great, but the atmosphere in the Stadium was
unbelieveable. It was at least as intense as the playoff crowds I've
been a part of.
The pictures are almost all taken from our seats in the second to last
rown of Section U5. That's pretty high up. The 10x zoom really came
in handy.
Most images are shown at a resolution of 640x480, but are available
in 1024x768 and full 2048x1536 sizes by clicking on the links after
the captions.
There are a lot of pictures, so they're broken down onto several
pages:
