Ride from Monroeville to Gettysburg - June 5, 2003

We decided to take the whole day to get home from the Pittsburgh area. So we drove across southern Pennsylvania on the turnpike, then cut across U.S. 30 to make a stop in Gettysburg.

This part of US 30 is the route of the old Lincoln Highway, the first transcontinental highway. They have marked it well in this area. [1024x768][2048x1536]
