Here's most of what I posted to the NYSkiBlog about these two days: I used my two Indy days at Titus, second half of Monday, first half of Tuesday. I had some light drizzle and light snow on Monday afternoon, which made the snow slow (which is not a good thing at Titus given the amount of low angle terrain). Still, I found some good runs and enjoyed my afternoon. The best run was probably Three Trees and the best glade was Harvey's Road. The Face and the bottom of Pine Run were as well since I could get up a little speed. On Tuesday, I was there pretty much for first chair and found about 2" of fresh cover. This and temps just below freezing made all the difference. I had a lot of first tracks, and the surfaces skied into a really nice packed powder by midday. They had Chair 1 open instead of 4 and everything over there was fun. The best glade of the two days was Bark Eater, but I did find some spots where the little bit of fresh snow was barely covering dirt and rocks. I wish I could have stayed longer but left after lunch since I had to drive to Toronto, where sadly I was nowhere near the massive snows back close to home.
