Toronto Blue Jays vs. New York Yankees, Yankee Stadium, Bronx, New York - April 29, 2006
These pictures were taken with my Fujifilm FinePix S9000 digital camera during
a trip to the Bronx to see the Toronto Blue Jays play the New York
Yankees at Yankee Stadium on April 29, 2006.
Most images are shown at a resolution of 640x480, but are available
in their full 3488x2616 size by clicking on the links after
the captions.
The pictures are broken down into several pages:
- The ride down
- Outside the Stadium before the game
- Inside the Stadium before the game
- The game
While the game wasn't especially tense and the pitching was horrible
by Randy Johnson and everyone that Toronto threw out there, we did see
two notable things. First, Reed Johnson was hit by a pitch three times,
tying a major league record. Second, the Yankees scored at least one
run in each of the 8 innings in which they batted. This was only the
second time in team history that they did this and the sixth time this
has happened in the 100+-year history of the American League.
